Arthritis, a
broad term used to describe more than 100 different health conditions that
result in considerable physical disability, is very challenging to treat
effectively, regardless of disease type.
This brief review
revisits the research base concerning the use of dance-based
therapeutic exercises as a possible adjunct for ameliorating
arthritis.
The goal was to
provide an overview of the potential of this form of therapy for arthritis
patients as well as health professionals working with this population.
